Audi Leads Global Premium Segment

Popularity of the new enlarged model of Audi A4 model in China provided a 39% increase in sales in the main car market for the German company. According to the results of global sales in January 2013, Audi was able to get ahead of the leader in the premium segment – BMW. Audi was able to realize 111,750 vehicles, registering a 16% growth in sales. On the other side, BMW, firmly entrenched in the first place of this ranking since 2005, has reported about 107,276 cars sold, showing an increase of 12%.

Audi’s first place as a result of its performance last month was largely achieved due to the 39% sales growth in China – the largest market for the German company thanks to the popular there long version of the A4 sedan.
