New Engine for Audi

Audi automotive company, particularly the division that is located in Ingolstadt, will modernize the 5-cylinder gasoline engine that is now being used in many sports models of the brand. The need to update the 2.5-liter turbocharged engine evolved in relation to the development of Mercedes-Benz turbocharged 4-cylinder installation with the volume of 2.0 liters, which will be included in the equipment of the model A45 AMG and will develop 350 hp and 450 Nm of torque, while the unit that is now used at top Audi modifications has a capacity of 360 hp.

The modernization of the five-cylinder Audi engine will not only increase capacity, as promised by the engineers, but will also raise the peak moment. The exact specifications of power unit are not yet made public.
