2015 Audi TT Sportback Concept car – an automotive design icon

The German carmaker Audi has presented its five-door TT Sportback at the Paris Motor Show in the form of concept. This is an elongated five-door model of the third-generation Audi TT Coupe, based on the MQB platform. It received a stylish design, including a wide hexagonal grill, the advanced LED headlights, the prominent rounded roofline and lower bumper.

The power of the TT Roadster comes from the upgraded 394 horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder TFSI engine with 450Nm of torque. It has the 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The acceleration of the model 0-62mph for just 3.9 seconds. Inside we can find a wide modern dashboard with a 12.3-inches touch screen in the center and MMI multimedia system.

We would like to notice, that the Audi TT Sportback is 290mm longer, 60mm wider then Audi TT Coupe. The same we can say about its wheelbase – it also 120mm longer. All the front body is made of steel; other elements are made of the aluminum-sheet. The aluminum suspension details help to reduce weight. As designers say, the hybrid body construction provides a low center of gravity that ensures the sporty ride.
