The power unit provided for Elaine concept is one electric engine on the front axle and two on the rear that deliver 503 horsepower. Technically, the car is able to get 100 km/h in 4.5 s and move 500 km on one charge (a battery capacity is 95 kWh).

Audi specialists supplied the car by Audi Fit Driver system. These are wrist sensors that read the driver’s vital signs to adjust the right traffic mode or climate settings. In addition, the carmakers added Car-to-X infrastructure and a special system that let to communicate with other vehicles. This technology increases the awareness of the self-driving car about the road environment that leads to better safety.
