Audi SQ7 TDI has a new power capacity

In March 2016 the petrol heads could attend a special event in Ingolstadt, where Audi brand has demonstrated an off-road car. It became a charged SQ7, based on the Q7 platform of the second generation. Audi SQ7 TDI of 2016-2017 model year has got a different grille grid, rear silver mirrors and bumper finisher, and, of course, SQ7 nameplates.

The carmakers haven’t changed a lot the SUV’s cabin. The novelty’s interior design includes the front panel decorated by carbon elements, pedals with metal plates, modified dashboard, and a sports steering wheel having a truncated form below. Technically the Audi SQ7 is equipped by a 4.0-liter TDI diesel triple supercharged engine. The motor works with an 8-band automatic transmission. This power plant let generating 435 hp and 900 Nm of torque. The crossover uses 7.4 liters of fuel per 100 km.

SQ7 TDI base configuration will be supplied by 4-wheel Quattro with the Torsen center differential, air suspension, adaptive dampers and active anti-roll bars that can be adjusted independently of each other. The new Audi SUV will be launched in Europe in spring 2016. An approximate price will amount to 89,900 Euros.
