Concept car Audi prologue turned into a wagon Avant

Audi has unveiled the new concept car, called the prologue Avant. The first prototype, called prologue, coupe was shown in November 2014 at the Motor Show in Los Angeles. Development of concepts was led by new chief designer Marc Lichte German mark. Public display prologue Avant wagon will be held in early March at the Geneva Motor Show.

Overall length of the prototype is 5.11 meters, width – 1.97 meters and height – 1.4 meters. Wheelbase concept car is 3.04 meters. Thus, prologue Avant 167 millimeters long, 96 millimeters wider and 61 mm lower than with serial wagon Audi A6 current generation. The difference in distance between the axles is 128 millimeters in favor of the concept car. Moreover, prologue Avant more and prototype prologue: NEW 10 millimeters longer, 20 millimeters wider and 10 millimeters higher.

In the motion Audi prologue has given by means of a forced version of the power plant hybrid SUV Q7 e-tron last generation. It consists of a three-liter diesel turbo power of 353 horsepower, 135-hp electric motor, assembled with a single node eight-diapason automatic transmission, and a lithium-ion battery capacity of 14.1 kilowatt-hours. The total output of 455 powers and 750 Nm of torque. From zero to “hundreds” of all-wheel drive prototype accelerates in 5.1 seconds, and its top speed is limited force at around 250 kilometers per hour. Fuel consumption is prologue Avant 1.6 liters per hundred kilometers. Pure electric prototype can travel 54 kilometers.
