Remembering the first generation of Audi R8 with a turbocharged engine, we immediately remember projects of Underground Racing tuner, but this is a project of another American company, duPont Registry. The company’s engineers are going to transform the supercar in one of the most powerful R8 on the planet, for this purpose the car with 5.2-liter V10 engine will receive two turbines, and its output will increase up to 1500 hp.

In addition, the tuners have strengthened gearbox S-Tronic, which now provides a “lightning-fast” gear changes. It is argued that the problem with turbo lag is also solved. Acceleration 0-96 km / h takes about two seconds, seven more are needed to finish a distance of a quarter of a mile (402 m) at a speed of 241 km / h.

List of exterior changes will also include 20-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels, and company logos; as for the rest, then it is the standard Audi R8. In addition to the engine and the gearbox, car suspension will be tuned too. The first prototype has already been presented this week in Las Vegas at the Barrett-Jackson auction. Supplies of 1500-strong supercar should begin before the end of the year, and the edition amount to only 25 units.
