Audi has improved the power of charged RS Q3 crossover

Audi has introduced a special version of charged RS Q3 crossover – Performance. Externally, the Performance version is different from the standard by grey matte aluminum trim body, while RS Q3 model has a chrome tone. In addition, the novelty has 20-inch wheels and special Ascari blue color, which is available only for this version. The crossover has also got enlarged ducts, a modified front bumper and large rear diffuser.

The charged Performance was created for those who want to get more impressions driving a familiar compact crossover. Engineers worked on the modernization of five-cylinder 2.5 TFSI engine, which increased a productivity by 30 horsepower. Now, this unit is capable of producing 367 hp at 465 Nm. The same indicators are in a “hot” RS3 Sportback model. The engine is mated to a seven-step automatic. The crossover accelerates to hundred kilometers per hour in 4.4 seconds. It’s 0.4 seconds faster than RS Q3. The charged version’s top speed is 270 km/h.

Audi RS Q3 Performance debut will be held in early March at the Geneva Motor Show. In Germany, its cost will start from 61 thousand euros. Sales will go on in the second quarter of this year.
