Audi has decided to postpone the release of the new generation flagship sedan A8. The debut of the car will take place at the end of 2017. Previously, the concern was planning to release a new product in 2016. According to Autocar, the postponement is because of the release of the car due to the fact that the company needs more time to develop autonomous driving technology.

It is noted that the car can go without the driver at a speed not exceeding 60 kilometers per hour. Electronics is able to change lanes, slow down, turn on the turn signals and look for a parking place.
For the first time the new system will be presented in January at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. “If you have a good autopilot, it is always better to live driver. The autopilot does not talk on the phone, distracted by a passenger or a girl on the sidelines. I believe that our autonomous vehicles better than most of the drivers, “- said the head of the Audi Technology and Communications Stefan Moser.
