Audi unveiled the serial electric R8 E-Tron

Audi has released the first official images of serial electric version of the supercar R8 second generation, called the e-tron. The first public display of the model will take place at the Geneva Motor Show.
As previously was reported, the impact of the power plant R8 e-tron makes 462 horsepower and 920 Nm of torque. From zero to hundred kilometers per hour model accelerates in 3.9 seconds, 0.3 seconds faster than a pre-electro supercar option.

Electric supercar manned the T-shaped blocks of lithium-ion battery capacity of 92 kWh. Cruising the production model is 450 km against 235 km in pre-production prototype. On a full battery recharge R8 e-tron will require less than two hours.
Releasing the R8 e-tron is the German automaker to order.

The first public display of the normal version of Audi R8 was also held in Geneva. The model is now only available with a gasoline engine V10, the return of which is either 540 or 611 horsepower. Novelty is based on the same platform with the Lamborghini Huracan. The most powerful coupe version accelerates from zero to hundred kilometers per hour in 3.2 seconds, and up to two hundred kilometers per hour – in 9.9 seconds.
