Audi will celebrate three anniversaries at the Festival of Speed

In the traditional Festival of Speed, which will be held at Goodwood on 27 to 29 June, Audi will celebrate three anniversaries at once. The company will present at the event, sports cars, which are part of its historical heritage.

So, this year marks the 100th anniversary of the first sports victory Audi. 35 hp Type C Alpine Victor won one of the toughest endurance races of his time – Austrian Alpine Trial. Released in 1911, Type C is the third model of the brand Audi, renamed from Horch.

80 years ago on the slopes of the debut of cars Auto Union Silver Arrows. In honor of this date on the Festival of Speed will show “silver arrow” Auto Union Type C 1936 release.
